Thursday 23rd October 2014 @ 12:00 am

Sophie has written her first YA novel, called Finding Audrey, which will be published in the UK and US in June 2015.

The novel features a 14-year-old girl recovering from an anxiety disorder, and blends family comedy, romance, and personal discovery.

Sophie says, 'Finding Audrey is my first YA novel, and I loved writing it. Audrey has already become a best friend to me, and I hope you will enjoy meeting her and her crazy family.'

YA stands for Young Adult, though I'll probably still read it even though I'm 40 this year as I love Sophie's books!!x

YA stands for Young-adult fiction or young adult literature. It's often someone between the ages of twelve and eighteen. Authors and readers of young adult (YA) novels often define the category as literature traditionally written for ages ranging from sixteen years to the age of twenty-five.
